A friend of a friend is selling this RC51, his name is Keith. He is legit as far as I can trust, If not I get to throw a co-worker into the French River.
"I am selling a 2001 Honda RVT RC51 1000CC Sport bike. I recently registered the bike for the first time. The title came in as CLEAR!!! I own the bike without lien, CLEAN TITLE in HAND. The bike (engine and suspension) has 7,3** miles on it. The bike has a new battery, fresh oil (amsoil full synthetic). It is stock other than a rear sprocket, aftermarket turn signals, and a passenger seat.
The reason I am selling is that I am a noob rider, which sucks because this bike is awesome and it just fell into my lap. Because of this I have only put about 100 miles and know full well it is not right for me. I need something a lot more user friendly to have as a first bike.
Previous to myself, it's only owner was a Doctor who kept it in in excellent mechanical shape. Cosmetically however, it has some scratches on the fairings, and a small dent on the right side of the tank from being dropped in the driveway. It should be noted that I purchased the bike with a damaged frame and replaced the frame. It was reported by the previous owner (a doctor) that he was taking the bike off a truck to have it serviced, and it fell off the ramps and rolled into a concrete barrier which cracked the frame. There was no other structural damage. After replacing the frame, the bike was inspected and marked with a new ID number by the Massachusetts State Police. I have it registered and it is completely legal.
I am asking $4,500 for the bike. Reasonable offers will be considered. I am NOT interested in trades at this time.
