    Smile 1992 Ducati 900SS Black on white frame.

    SOLD SOLD SOLD!!

    I'm selling my Ducati. It's one of 68 black on white 900ss full fairing ever sent to the US. The bike runs and rides fantastic and is in great condition. Right now it has about 19000 mi and I have a clean mass title in hand.

    I'm asking $5500 or trade offers. I understand it's a lot for a 20 year old supersport. But, with the rarity and condition I think I can get it. I put it on E-bay this December and it made it to 5100 and didn't meet the reserve. But, if it doesn't sell this winter I'll re-list it.

    I'm always looking for something new so let me know any reasonable trade offers.

    Never mind I only have 7 posts I need 25. Oddly enough I found a black on white '95 asking 5500. They didn't come in black and white any year other than 92 but it was still getting interest.

    The bike is on Ebay.
    Somone contacted me today who wants the bike. They said they could wire money to my account today or send a check. It sounded fishy. Should I go through with it?

    Sounds fishy, at the very least require that they don't get the bike or paperwork until AFTER the check/transfer has sat for 30 days or whatever the bank says is the limit before a check/transfer can be recalled.

    Watch out for money orders and bank checks they are usually counterfeit. They send you more than you expect so you get 7,000 they say "oops" and ask you to wire back 1,000 and keep an extra 500 for your trouble. Trick is 6mo later the company(western union) takes the money back and u go to jail for fraud.

    I would have taken 5,100 for that thing kbb says its worth 2,500!! Glws
