My point is that either of these guns can be transferred from MA to NH without the use of a MA FFL.

I have a G26 now
Sale on the LC9 fell through...
Re: Ruger LC9 and Marlin .22
Ahh nice. I had a G26 but sold it after a month or so. Didn't like the doublestack grip, too fat for my hand and the gun was thick too, just didn't really like it. Was a nice gun though.
Re: Ruger LC9 and Marlin .22
Its nice having redundant mags 17 19 26
Re: Ruger LC9 and Marlin .22
Watch the mags between Generations. Prebans don't work in Gen 4's unless you swap springs/followers. Then they won't work reliably in the older Gens anymore.

Re: Ruger LC9 and Marlin .22
All right. We've determined that if I buy the RIFLE we will go through a NH FFL. Can someone explain this process to me? The last BRAND NEW guns we bought were long before all this bullshit and was nothing more than a matter of walking into Walmart & Thompson Center and just buying the fuggin' things. All other firearms we've bought used with a simple exchange of cash and a handshake. I'm completely oblivious to this FFL transfer crap...
Re: Ruger LC9 and Marlin .22
Arrange a time to meet at a NH FFL dealer who does transfers.
Walk in and tell them that you are buying a gun from Marco, but he's a Massachusetts resident, so you need them to process the transfer. They will have you fill out a 4473. They will call the state with the information. After some amount of time the state will call them back with the all clear. Hand them money. Hand Marco money. Walk out with the gun.
Dealers charges for transfers vary.
Charlie company, by Parkers is an FFL. I don't know if they do transfers.

I think Marco will need to fill out an FA-10 as well, for proof that he doesn't own the gun anymore, but I'm not sure how to deal with that when he's transferring to someone who doesn't have a MA LTC. The information at https://mircs.chs.state.ma.us/fa10/a...me&app_action= present home is less than helpful. If I find something I'll post.

The only correction to this is that the call will be to the NICS (Feds) unless it's for a pistol, and then a call is placed additionally to the NH State Criminal Background Check system.
No FA10 is required for out of state sales, only in state.
