Got a few odds and ends I've collected for my VFR build that I no longer need.
$200 shipped / $150 picked up - Set of TL1000R top and bottom radiators, in good shape.
$100 shipped / $75 picked up - Set of front brake calipers with SS lines and pads, like the ones pictured below (I can get pics up tonight).

i might take those brakes for my SV. do you think they would be over kill?

I don't wanna step on Scottie's thread here. But I wouldn't do it. The thing to do with TL's was to swap those 6-pots out for the GSXR 4-pots at the time. I still have mine, but I like things stock-ish like that. They DO do a great job, but I've always been told the swap I mentioned was the way to go...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
maybe i can remove a rotor and run just one 6 piston. ya know...to save weight![]()

, both 'o yez.
The 6-pots do look trick as hell thoughPersonally, I'm opting to go with either dual or a single 4-pot, Nissin or Brembo depending on what I can dig up. I just decided these guys were way too much for the NC-30.

There were complaints about the 6 piston caliper flexing from some people, more than likely top level racers that could actually tell the difference when a caliper flexed, which made the mere mortals of the world believe that the 6 piston calipers were inferior and wouldn't stop them when they absolutely needed them on the street.....................
The six pistons I had on my TLS off a same generation GSXR750 worked pretty damn well for hauling my ass down from speed during the many track days and spirited street rides I took part in on my TLS. Only took them off because I got the opportunity to upgrade to the four piston, four pad Brembos on my TLS.
I still have the GSXR brakes hanging on the wall in my garage. They are the black model not the gold model. If anyone is interested in a set of black six pistons off of a 1999 GSXR750 instead of the gold ones that Scottie has let me know.

P.S. Scottie if the mention of me having the black set laying around is an issue and you want me to remove it let me know.
