Hi - we're getting ready to put our house on the market, probably next week. I have a ton more info and pictures for anyone interested. We're not taking listing broker solicitations but will pay a 2.5% commission to brokers who introduce us to a buyer. Broker will be paid at closing. Asking price is $450K. Thanks.
damn I wish I could afford that. I like it a lot.

Thanks - we love the house, it's just time for us to downsize.
Nice setup. Good luck.
Thanks - hoping it sells before the weather is warm enough for me to open the pool!
I bought my house for the in ground pool and the house is too big with my kid in college. The extra room is sweet and well there's nothing like swimming in your back yard. I just can't see selling it. Didn't you just build that place out in the last year or so?
The pool is above ground (heated) but it has a privacy wall and full deck which is large enough for lots of patio furniture. It's a nice set up because it keeps a lot leaves from blowing in (and we have lots of them!) and drunks from falling out (and we've had our share of those as well). You can kind of see the layout from one of these pics - the pool is one the right behind the wall. The other shows the back deck and screened porch.
We've been in the place since 1996 (it was built in 1993). We've done a lot to it but the only recent things are new windows (two years ago) and a new roof last year. We were going to rebuild the deck (which might be what you are recalling) but since a buyer might want other materials / colors we decided against it.

Looks like we have it sold. Verbally accepted an offer today, and we'll get it in writing tomorrow. Now to sell our condo and start house hunting.
