You could also go full bagger and pick up an old wing or Venture cheap, probably well under your budget. There is a growing trend to make them into adv or cafe bikes so you can mix it up if you wanted too.
Yeah, I was looking for one, but hadn't found one I wanted to pull the trigger on yet.
After doing a lot of riding this weekend on the 890 ADV, I think I may just wait until the fall to pick something up that has better wind protection for the colder months.

Makes sense to wait. Prices seem very high for used bikes right now
