2005 WR450 w/15 hours MINT.

Hey guys,

I'm building an '06 Honda 600RR for a guy, and trading it to him for 2 2005 WR450's that are brand spankin new. They are coming with titles (that do not state for off-road use only). It literally looks like they came off the showroom floor. He bought them left-over in 2006, and was trying to open a performance shop that didn't work out so he has a garage full of toys to get rid of.

Now, If anybody wants a beastly thumper, let me know. MSRP on this bike was $6,800 the guy paid $5,500 I think.... I'm looking to get $3700 obo.

Let me know soon, because I don't need 2, and the local shop has offered me over $3000 for it... I will be picking the bikes up in a few weeks.

turns out, it will be cheaper:

update, bike will come with bill of sale, from original owner (he faxed me title and ID) but the title will have a lein until his bankruptcy is final.

now i'll be getting them for around $2500 each. first one to jump on this and be serious can have one... PM me or call me.

If he's counting on bankruptcy to clear the lein off the title, he's counting wrong. If he filed bankruptcy and is asking the debt to be discharged, the lein holder owns the bikes...translation: they're considered stolen.

Who has the title?

A bank? If so, I think they will either need the money or the bikes before they let the title go.....I would think that in a business bankruptcy the goods remaining go to the bank.....

If it is legit though, Ill take one!

Like has been said, if there's a lein he doesn't own it and can't sell it. He's not going to be able to take the money and have someone else pay off the debt.

If he's looking to give you a deal, find out what he owes and take over the loans and take the bikes. Otherwise 'stolen' is the buzzword.

to: everyone... I am calling the lawyer who is handling his bankrupcy and will post details when i get back in the US... IF it doesn't work out, oh well... but I think it will, the letter and information I've gathered seems legit, but I will be verifying before I pick them up.

Do you mean to say that there exists a legitimate Mass. Certificate of Title for this WR450, and not some manner of Certificate of Origin? Just seeking some clarification. thanks

I am interested in one at $2500. Cash. No BS. As long as title/cert. of origin is clean and clear of encumbrances. The bike is in "like new" condition as you say... deal done.
