2014 PSTR short course schedule

Bump.
This Sunday is the first short course at wareham mx, same spot as the winter jdays.
Assuming you have an AMA mbership, this is how the $ will break down:
Entry is $35 for adult classes except for women, $25 for mini, bigwheel, and women, $20 for vintage.
PSTR day pass is $5.
Gate fee is $10/person to the track owner.
Scoring packet is a one time fee of $15 for a transponder and a front number plate decal. No scoring packet needed for vintage (manual scoring).
If you're racing an adult class it will cost you $65 for the day if you need a scoring packet, $50 if you don't.

I'm told this will use more of the mx track than the jday, most of it, in fact. No enduroX section. 2-40min motos.

Weird that it's more MX and less enduro stuff. I expected the opposite. It'll be a blast for sure!

So, I have the opportunity to borrow an '86 CR500 for the vintage race. I really want to do it, but I'm sure I'd be smoked (or dead) before the regular racing even started. It's almost a tease in a way!

It required a trip to Grafton and probably a few hours of tinkering. It just wasn't in the cards this time. I think he wants to sell it, so I'll post up a "for sale" thread for him if that's the case.

True. But I DID have fun.

I had a blast, but I'm paying the price today. I was happy to jump into the B group and finish somewhere near mid-pack. Chip was on his game, and pretty much checked out.

2nd, b-vet.
Safe to say I had an unusually good day. Ring a ding!

Chipper tore it up! Double holeshots! Kermit was tearing up the MX. I got 3rd in the first and 7th in the second moto for 4th in C-heavy.
