    4-stroke Pipe Repair

Dented my header on the kx250f, its a pro circuit titanium pipe so a replacement header is like $300 where as they claim to repair them for $75 through a few companies i have found online(listed one below). Anyone ever sent one out for repair? how did it look when it came back?

Ive heard rumors of filling it with water and freezing it.

Could be an urban legend, but the physics work out.

I did try that, i did not have the ends plugged though, I did also read that if you let it freeze to long you can crack it etc... i think i could get the dent out this way, but it also has a minor bend where the header goes into the engine head and i don't think ice will get that out, but it looks like these pipe repair guys can from there pictures. Just hoping someone would have something good to say before i take the risk, not that $60-75 is life-changing anyways though
