8/12 AMA national Freetown mass

All you need is a AMA card, no pstr membership needed (unless you want points in the pstr series)
I know it's a lrrs weekend, and there's probably a few other things going on, but this is where I'll be:

Is that the same course that PSTR has used for a while? If so I raced there once and the course was BEAT.

Depends when you raced there...it's not beat, that's just Freetown. It's nasty.

That would've been clarkies farm. Same terrain, just a couple miles down the road.

I ride there all the time, it's good, punishing stuff. It makes alot of other places feel like taking a cruise down a paved bike path. Like black coffee, it ain't for everyone.

So true! Riding elsewhere is nice after riding at PSTR locations. That being said, I thoroughly enjoy myself when I ride the PSTR events. Just need to make sure you and the bike are ready for it.

I need to get back down there this fall, I really enjoy riding there. Wouldn't want to do it everyday but it's fun.

A hard fought 2nd in B-vet. That's amateur-over 30 for you road racer types.
50 miles through some seriously slippery, rocky, and then real hot and humid conditions.

Like a dream come true. I'm still on stock boingers...I haven't quite got the need to valve yet, and I've dropped some lbs so I'm still in the meat of the stock springs. Things are looking up!

Edit: I dropped a rekluse exp in. Now that's a fucking game changer. It's spot on with just enough slip to put power to the ground effectively. Lug that beast all day long.
