Did a bit of haggiling to come home with a 2002 Banshee
It needs some stuff but for $2800 bucks it was a good deal.
Came with a helm.,new rear pads in the package,set of white plastics,full skid plate and full chrome FMF fatty2 pipes with FMF power core II cans and a set of blue plastics with a graphics kit on the wheeler that looks pretty sweet.

Things it needs

1.The exhaust is new and the motor has yet to be rejetted, need a jet kit and air filter.
2.Needs a new chain guard there is a touch of wear on the swingarm.
3.Good measure oil and fluid changes all around.
4.Bars look to be a little bent .
5.Tighten every last nut, bolt and screw.
6.Mystery did ya find anyone with tires in stock? I need some too
7.Clamps for the skid plate so I can put it back on.
8.Registration.

Still and all around a good deal for the toy that it is.

Guy, check ebay for tires. just go to ebay motors and type in yfz in the search box and there should be 2,000 or so items for sale
As for the jetting, it's very simple, i think when i had my FMF power combo, i put in 260 main jets and bumped to the third or forth? needle clip position.
Also, i started to use Motul 800 2T synthetic racing oil in my last banshee before i got rid of it, the shit made a huge diffence I always mixxed mine at 50:1 even though the manual says something stupid like 32:1, prolly just to get you to buy more spark plugs

I have the kids and dont have a trailer so no riding this weekend.
I want to go throught he whole thing first just to see if shit is ok and register it!
One thing I love about these 2-strokes, you can rip them apart and re-assemble them in no time.

Sounds like an excellent deal, Banshee is a very nice 4 wheeler. I wish I had a dirtbike...maybe this summer.
