How do you guys clean your dirt bikes?
I spent over an hour hosing down the bike with sponge and soap etc. Looks great until it dries. Then it looks like i washed it with dirty water.
Is there a process you guys use?

Rinse, spray degreaser and paintbrush, rinse again. Aka: the r7 method.
Disclaimer: my junk will never look as good as his.

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
Get a 4" good fluffy paint brush, simple green and wash away. I always do sections at a time, if the simple green dries, it will etch the paint/aluminum.
Usually takes me about 20 minutes to wash my bike this way. Once done, blow dry it with a leaf blower, then mist the engine/metal/aluminum parts with WD40 and ArmorAll the plastics

I had some foaming tire shine leftover from one of those car cleaning kits that a relative got me for Christmas. I don't use that shit on tires, but wholly fuck does it make a dirt bike shine.
I gives it the hose
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
R7 method described above. Works the titilies.
Do NOT use a pressure washer unless you hate your wheel bearings.
Pressure washer, just don't direct it at seals etc.
It's a dirt bike.. lol..
But back in the day I used big Orange degreaser.. a soft brush.. Orange degrease the piss out of the chain.. plastic brush it.. pressure wash it ( not too close to seals and gaskets as mentioned) then blow wit leaf blower or compressor cuz to impatient to let dry.. then over spray everything with WD-40..
Id pressure wash the chain too.. I've never had to replace it.. a clean chain is a Happy chain.. then dry it with a rag.. then abuse it with WD-40 then rag again to remove excess. Then chain lube it

I spray down any nasty areas with Purple power and let it sit while I hook up the power washer. I PP the hubs too. Then hit with the pressure washer.
Once done I put it up on the table and hand wipe with a rag and WD-40. Keeps her looking respectable with minimal work. Wiping it all down with the WD helps it come clean next time too.
