The trick is hitting the sand track a few times, then the woods sections, then the fields and all the woods trails attached to them, then the dike gap, then back to the sand track. Then you can ride for several hours without getting too drained. :wink:
gregp has a brother who patrols the area I think... Not a bad spot, but it would be nice with a little more soil and less clay. The spot I was riding down in bloomfield CT was sick - mostly hard packed, with some sandy whoops.
