First off, thank you to Mark and everyone else for another fun filled weekend full of laughs.
We went to a top secret riding location for the weekend .
Saturday ,
Mark headed out on his raptor for the morning session ,
Wifey on the green monster
Melisa and hesojay were on the team red bikes .
we warmed up while waiting for Jay and Cheryl to unload and get suited up .
Jay on his rappy
mark traded the 4 wheels for the WR for the mid day ride and soup fest
todd showed up its not often he goes slow enough to catch a pic but this water hole slowed everyone down
except for melissa
who was smart, jumped over 1 trail and routed around it
I don;t know what it is about the place but the gravity is really strong down there .
wet too
Saturday was fun , mileage wasn;t high but no one was complaining as we were all worn out , we did the usual, eat way too much, sit around the fire, launch the spud gun a few dozen times and have a few laughs .
Sunday
Jay and cheryl headed for the hills, the rest of us found some more energy laying around and went riding again .
Hello mister tree !
meet wifey
luckily it was low speed, she managed to keep it up on 2 wheels and only broke the radiator shroud.
did I mention that the newly cut trails are getting rutted in
I stopped to snap a pic and found one of the potatoes launched the night before
Mark and Hesojay were smart and went around
melissa didn;t know she had the option
and wanted to be sure the trail was well burned in
maybe rutted in a little too well
hello mister tree
no, just kidding
Oh did I mention the gravity before ?
momentum is your friend
I was on my way to help but had to get the pic first
this one looked real bad , and normally I would go for the pic first , but he stopped dead in his tracks did a full front flip right around the bars landed on his head and the bike came in on top of him so I ran to get the bike off of him . But he was gracious enough to pose
the trails are so tight in some spots you just can't hold on anymore from the arm pump
mark is by far the fastest at getting his bike back up off the ground I just can't get the camera out fast enough
Jay bobbled a bit through the rock garden , as did I , I made it but it wasn;t prettty , I figured it would be a good spot to set up shop
I even got the old FYYFF salute
I bobbled over a rock and had a no speed step off which had me crossing onto the other trail with mark coming , he almost clipped me
but it was good for a few laughs
Melissa posing for a post tip over photo opp
or more like a let me catch my breath moment
we were all pretty beat up today but its that good kind of exhausted
thanks again to mark for having us , it was a good way to get in the first single track miles for the season nothing like tight and nasty to get you all warmed up , wait what are we talking about .

looks like a blast, thanks for the picture story Sean!
from your exquisite wielding skills, I'd say this one came out the best:
I also enjoy tight and nasty (well, it's easier w' the XR200R since it is a 4t w' such a short wheel base), even though I'm really no good at it. The gravity, ruts, and rocks look wild...
On average, which gear were you all riding in?
1st and second gear, lot of clutch work.

It can't be fun unless you have pictures of thumpers on the ground--great pictures and thanks for sharing!![]()
Work is going to suck tomorrow![]()
Great weekend, awesome friends, awesome food, loud and fun night of drinking, and some fun riding in the slop
And yes Sean, you have plenty of crash pictures of me from years past, so when i crash, it turns into a race to see how fast i can pick my bike up
Thanks again to everyone that made it a great time

Went out yesterday in my "Secret Spot" as well with a friend....we decided to just find random hills that looked climbable and go for em...needless to say, we had many many many crashes as you guys had, lol.
Great day, sure beat at work today though.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
I love work safe "dirty" pics. Looks like fun

James, how is the CRF compared to the old YZ when your climbing hills? Does it pull harder or is it just different?
Nice pictures![]()

Holy crap, what a great weekend it was! That was just about the hardest 3-1/2 miles of riding I've done in a long time. The only thing I've encountered that compares are the small mountains in the Devil's Den riding area up by me...
Outstanding fookin' time as always, and huge thanks to Mark for putting us all up AGAIN. It was close, Jay...real close. Lucky for you I was in la-la land and didn't clamp down on 'em!
And why the hell did my nose smell like marshmelloes all day Sunday???
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Target fixation ! at first she was staring at me snapping the pic then her rear kicked on a rock and she stared at the tree she was aming for .
and jay I think I would rather have my nose smell like marshmellow than "tea bags"
turned out to be an expensive weekend , apparantly NO ONE makes after market plastics yet for that bike so the radiator shroud had to come OEM which is $84 then I broke and lost the yellow lens to one of my rear turn signals and UFO onl;y sells the signal as an assembly you can't get just the lense so thats another $28 plus shipping . Oh well , still a good weekend .
