didn't see this yesterday, I had a half day but spent all afternoon tearing bike apart and cleaning/fixing shit. I saw you in the evening, I took out my mini to go ride around a parking lot and try to get the carb dialed
I might be in for saturday as well, getting there around 11?

Wow, 3 weeks off takes its toll in MX. I rode really tight all day, and never really shooke that awkward feeling. I did 2 sessions on the cockroach (06YZF) to see if I would like a 250F. It was everything I expected, fast, smooth, easy to ride. Traction was noticeably better than my 125 and it tracked much straighter in the knar. It was a bit wallowy and soft though. It was beating the hell out of me in the big sand whoops, but that was down to suspension set up.
Then his blackness said, "do you wanna ride that one (pointing to his new 09 KXF250). Well, I wasn't about to refuse. The bike was immediately more natural for me than any dirtbike I've ridden yet. Stable, fast, quick turning, and predictable. It had it all. The stock suspension was the best I've sampled. Plush, but it never let me down in hard landings etc. The motor was sublime. Gobs of power all the way from low to high rpm, I mean wheel lifting power in every gear. The bike never felt wild at all though.
I'm gonna find one and sell my 125. Getting back on my bike, I realized that the suspension Peter did is awesome. It really doesn't misbehave anywhere, and the bike steers razor sharp. It's just time for something new...
nice! musta been fun, weather has been soooo good. killer on the 250F trials... bet you'll gain a bunch of speed w/more motor
i've been jonesin' for another 250 smoker

ya that kawi is great. I was almost instantly comfy on the 250f, not sure why I thought I would feel so awkward on it but I was almost as fast as I am on my 250 2smoke after a couple laps...was a fun day of puttin in laps

nice score on the truck! saw the 125 for sale, good luck, if i hear of anyone i'll send 'em your way.
i've been super depressed... after a few great motard rides last week, i tweaked something in my shoulder on Thurs, so i thought... pain got so bad (cant lay down, cant sleep) i had to see my doc yesterday... he thinks i may have blown a disc in my neck now! WTF. MRI tomorrow to see whats up. i'm back on prednisone and vicodin to try and help swelling. cant believe it.

Dude, you're back is popping like corn. I have 3-4 discs in my neck and upper back blown. The pain radiates out though the shoulder blades to the ribs. Sucks. BUT, I am mostly better from good PT and a dedicated exercise plan. Get your doc to prescribe 8 weeks of PT 2x a week. Find someone who does a combined technique using active release therapy and exercise. Get started ASAP. releif can happen pretty quickly.
its ridiculous, dude. i gotta get on a solid work-out plan if i want to keep motorcycling. no choice at this point if this is another disc. lame.
yes, the pain is from lower neck, down through shoulder, back of arm all the way down. sore feeling to 'nerves' in there the whole way too. i thought it was just my shoulder falling apart cause they crack and grind all the time, been that way for a while. as soon as he started checking me over he's like, 'uh, i think we need to get you an MRI again'.
i was swamped with work when they wanted me to hit 6 - 8wks of PT, i gotta make that happen this time. feel like i'm f'in 80 years old.
