What would make for a better ice bike:
- DRZ400
- TTR125L
I'm thinking the TTR. Tell me how wrong I am.
Re: Getting set up for ice riding
I don't think the ttr would be as much fun considering not many people have small ice bikes. Wouldn't be able to keep up.

Good point. I need to be faster than Roland on a 250.
Looks like Kenda doesn't even make rears for a 16" anyway.
Re: Getting set up for ice riding
I'd like to get this going as well. Gotta re-look over the thread I needsome 21/19s too if anyone has them.
Re: Getting set up for ice riding
I have a set of homemade jobbies that you can have for free. 21/19

Re: Getting set up for ice riding
Have screws... need to put the man hours in.... haven't ridden it since my "tree ride" :hmm:
Re: Getting set up for ice riding
Why do I need another set of wheels? Are they really that annoying to change?
Re: Getting set up for ice riding
No, not at all... hahaaaaaa!
Re: Getting set up for ice riding
BRAP! Ordered a 21/18 set on eBay. Now all I need to get is normal front brakes and the CRf should be ready.

Re: Getting set up for ice riding
Want to jump on the thread. Looking for any cheap / free ice tires, some ideas for places to go, and potential riding buddies - preferably within an hour or two of Boston.
I'll read this thread more closely sometime when I'm not at work 'cause it's wicked long.
Re: Getting set up for ice riding
Actually changing would not be so bad with the Baja No pinch tool

I'm not running front brakes on mine. Makes it that much easier.
