ATVs registered out of state
If your ATV is registered in a state outside of Connecticut, you are allowed to operate it here only if the outside state grants similar privileges to residents of Connecticut. Currently, only Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida grant similar privileges to Connecticut ATV operators and are therefore the only states where you can register your ATV and still operate it in Connecticut.

Riding Pachaug in CT tomorrow morning. 8AM start time. Street plate/registration is acceptable if you don't have CT OHV.

Just as an FYI, a Ct OHV registration is no good for Pachaug, you need a street plate and insurance to legally ride there.
Bring your swim trunks, eastern Ct has been getting drenched recently.
Re: Intermediate looking for fellow riders
Great riding on Saturday. My second time here, and first time completing. Last time I was beat about half way and called it quits. This time it was tough with the combination of the heat, humidity, muddy and wet conditions. Mt. Misery was well, miserable. Once you get caught up and stop, it makes it that much harder to get up. Some of water crossings were sketch as hell. One part the water was at the top of my front tire.
One thing I need to work on is riding in higher RPM. I ride a gear higher and slip the clutch a lot on my 250 4t. Lots to learn!
Re: Intermediate looking for fellow riders
Note to all HVD riders... the trails at Hodges are currently closed due to flooding.
Re: Intermediate looking for fellow riders
Anyone getting dirty this Saturday?
Re: Intermediate looking for fellow riders
I may ride HVD after work tomorrow, if not then Sunday morning
