Yeah, were going.
True, I still can't ride, but the kids still can. This will be my daughters last pee wee race, she should get 4th for the year in points, onto dead engine starts and the girls class next year! Son will be in Pee Wee senior for a few more years.
With the camper now, we will be there saturday. Saturday they have a staycik race as well as a pit bike race.
Cool.
My plan is to go. I screwed up my wrist mtbiking two weeks ago, so I blew off Lanesborough. I'm at BROmx today testing it out. Seems good. So I should be there Sunday.

You'll be fine.
I broke mine 3 years ago at 46, healed up nice.
I know yours was more shattered than mine, but the hardware helps it heal.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. It's pretty tough, I haven't exactly got in better shape and lost weight not being able to much of any physical activity since July....
Im doing my stimulator everyday for the past 9 days. Crazy it still hurts as bad as it does, but its basically still completely broken so it makes sense.
Yeah, I was back to work doing construction like a week later. Mine wasn't shattered like yours, but it was snapped completely in half and they put a lag bolt in it to hold it together while it healed.
After a couple months of just working, I asked the doctor if I needed physical therapy and he said I had been doing it just by working.
It never bothers me now or gets sore.

Sorry I missed you. I was in no man's land on the other side of the track.
The silt in the woods was brutal for the second moto

Looking back at the results, my daughter did 5 laps in 41:03 on the Honda 110, my son did 5 laps in 41:14 on his SX65. He did have to stop a few time because his hands were cold.... but this is going to cause a LOT of drama around here lol.
Next year will be crazy if I can race again....
8:00 Pee Wee Senior race, 9:00 Girls, 10:30 C Senior, 1:00 Girls, 2:20 C Senior!!!!
Our first moto was at 9:20. I think it was like 40°. I warm up quick and was sweating by the end of the moto.
I got 8th in the first moto. Killer start on the second moto, but it was so dusty in the woods on the start, I crashed like 3 times in the first part of the first lap. Lol
I kept tucking the front or getting stalled by someone in front of me. Between visibility, my impatience, the ruts and the silt everywhere, I crashed a lot. I was exhausted by the end of the second moto. Ended up 12th and 11th overall.
I was pretty disappointed. Was hoping to do better in the second moto and had a great start, which I usually don't get. Planning on maybe running the whole series next year.

I just watched a video from a guy in Cvet and the visibility looked damn near zero.
I had a race like you describe at Sandbox once, tired, kept tucking the front, which makes you more tired with each crash.
Awesome to hear on next season! We are considering the same if for next season if I can ride again.
Pee wees started at 7 and it was still almost a little dark out.
