so ive been looking for dirtbike for a couple weeks now and this is what i picked up.i got a good deal on it ithink $900
its a 1999 cr125
2006 CBR600RR
Fun bike. I had a 97 CR125 before my 02 KX125. That CR went to me from 6 fingers, got itself beat up on unreasonably for years on end and help up like a top. Enjoy!
nice congrats, I actually have brand new Universal radiator braces and skidplate for a cr125 if you want them CHEAP, let me know
LRRS #399
MX #505
thanks guys
the guy i got from "said" he did the top end last year
im going to do all the small stuff fluid air filter new plug
but as it sits it needs new rear tire, chain + sprockets thats about all i can see
starts up first kick no leaks no smoke no weird engine noises
im excited haven't had a dirt bike in 10 years so it will be good to get out there and ride
2006 CBR600RR
If you plan to ride a lot of woods stuff in Franklin and Wrentham, I highly recommend going up a couple teeth on the rear sprocket.
I highly suggest you buy the radiator braces from Seth.
Every dirtbike I buy the braces are the FIRST thing I buy (In retrospect)
New radiators are expensive.
Also, Im sure Seth has a great price on the skid plate too, mine as well pick them both up.

hahah the first thing I DID to my 09 was purchase radiator braces and a skit plate on ebay for $60.00 bucks both.
Wish they came stock with the bikes, oh well.
What bike did you pick up ? I just got the 09 RMZ450. Love it, just ordered
-PCV (eddie custom maps)
- Oversized front brake rotor 270mm
- RC high bend tall bar
- C Cycle suspenion
Im on the fence about spending $300 for RG3 triple clamps, trying to see if their worth it or not .
I have the same bike I had when I saw you at winchester, 09 yz250. The new rmz bikes are definitely badass

MX #505
what do you guys suggest i get for tires? mostly be riding across the street from where i live sand/gravel pit and power line trails until i get a truck and can travel
2006 CBR600RR
you should have bought my 2001 250. for 1800 its mint. check it out. good luck with the 125 , it seems like a good dealhttp://img691.imageshack.us/g/1006063.jpg/
TBH, anything is fine when you're starting out .
People will say ohhhh so and so tire is the best but really when you're pouting around, a $100 tire will still feel the same as a $30.00 tire. (If there is a different feeling, it certainly doesn't warrant the price difference)
Now if you're racing, thats a different story.
And if I get accepted into the MSA program ( Find out May 1rst) I'll have another big piece of paper with an even BIGGER number![]()
