NESR - Rise of the Dirtcycles

what a great day, weather and track were fan-tas-tique! nice to meet those of you i havent met, great to see the regulars... goodTimes in deed!

the step-down into the left-hander by the parking lot was wrecked from rain drainage, guess their underground drainage system collapsed during one of the last storms (?) so a nice little chicane was thrown in to get around that section and i thought it was a great change. real fun through there.

the place seemed to thin out after lunch but you guys really missed out on the last session of the day. Justin, Dave and I were basically solo on the track, we had a blast!

looking forward to the next meet up :beerbang:

Really fun day! Track was mint and the riding was fun. Good group. I recall seeing: JRO, Bhavesh, Black Squirrel, Typeone and his crew, Pittenger, Sethro, Jeff Wood (+ 2 other of his crew I ride with), Tomato, and myself (did I miss anyone?)

We'll def have to do it again. I'm thinking MX207 next time. Bit farther away, but it's a cool track and some of the other northern NESRians can make it there (Kurlon, LRRS313, etc).

I had a fantastic day. Mainly hanging around with my friends, getting a tan. The Squirrel was nice enough to let me take his bike (4stroke) out for a few laps, I got along well with that, slow but at least I could get around. Alex and jro let me take their bike out for a session, that was alright but a little hairy. I couldnt figure out the two stroke for the life of me. Trying to learn how to ride dirt, motocross AND a 2stroke (Ive never done any of them before) was a little much all at once.

I had enough to work at, at least with the 4 stroke I could throw it in 2nd and worry about getting around the track. The 2 stroke I had to worry about getting around the track AND try to keep the bike going. Just wasnt working.

Dude I'm sore. I rode MX thursday and saturday and am feeling it now. My hands are hamburger and my lower back is sore. Doesn't help I'm sick and was up all night coughing and wheezing. Fuck me I'm old.

my thighs are sore...I haven't done shit before saturday besides ice my knee for weeks! ugh
