Round 11 of the 2025 JDAY OFFROAD AMA REGIONAL GP CHAMPIONSHIP RICHARDSONS FARM, RI

Getting close to the end of this season! Got the kids signed up.

    Still on hold for me.....

Hopefully it isn't too dusty, that cornfield can be brutal.

Re: Round 11 of the 2025 JDAY OFFROAD AMA REGIONAL GP CHAMPIONSHIP RICHARDSONS FARM,

Well, we all survived. Tough weekend. Jdays are so fucking hard. My daughter is discouraged and that bums me out.

Son had the first moto in pee wee senior. He did well, great start, finished 7 of 10. he is getting quite good on his 65 for sure, and Im proud of him, but the top 5 riders are SO fast, they are untouchable. He is running mid to low 7 minute lap times, while #1 is running mid to low 5 minutes.

Daughter also had a great start, finished 5 of 5. She is running mid 9s while first is running mid 6s. She has been having knee problems since a bad crash in the rocks on our home trail, bent a brake lever and brake pedal too. On her last lap second moto, she pulled off. 40% knee pain, 60% frustration, exhaustion, and disappointment. She rides hard, crashes hard, then her bike wont start. She almost always has to wait for a sweep to start it for her which kills her lap times.

People that have done both moto x and Jday, are we retarded for doing j days? they are SO hard. It poured saturday night, to there were nud holes, all the logs were slippery, etc.

the extreme was only one log, but it was huge.

IDK, just a little bummed after a hard weekend.

Kinda funny, a black superduty, with nitto trail grapplers, fender flares, and a bds lift parked next to us

sounds like it beats sitting in the stands for a base/foot/basket ball game....unfortunately WAY more expensive as well...

Looks as if they are turning over the corn fields for free...

And after clicking on your you tube link I now have your vids randomly popping up in my feed daily...

have you tried any NETRA events? i have found them to be more family-friendly race-wise than JDays. always felt JDay had a ton of sandbaggers, and i've heard others voice the same. no clue if it's the same these days, i haven't raced in a while. was just talking to a moto dad last weekend about NESC, his kid was totally sandbagging C-class. lame. podium B rider.

no, i don't think you're retarded but moto racing is tough no matter what the discipline or series. it's intense. fun, but intense. gotta stay gritty.

Nah, we have only ever done Jday. There is a Maine motocross series.

I agree on the Sandbaggers!!!! You definitely see it in the pee wee classes and the C classes!

I dont know what were gonna do.

Still one more race we will go to this season, Southwick early Nov!
