pre-studded tires?
or install-your-own studs?
and you mean studs (for snow) and not screws (for ice), right?
I found a few on TT before, but the studs that look like they'll stay in the longest are the last ones on this post:

if either of you are looking for ice screws I have a new box of 1000 I believe that I'd be willing to let go. Let me know if interested.

Screws don't hold up to well to the slip-n-grip type traction of track riding, plus once you hit the dirt a few times..the edges will wear down quick.
I've never had a set of production offroad spiked tires, but from what I've read, the up front cost is high but they can last several seasons. There's a guy on NEDB named Mike (user name there as well) that buys the tires and studs abd builds them himself. He is usually selling them in sets and for about $100 less than the going rate for the same thing

bah humbug...my post didn't make it
essentially, you want studs from www.gripstuds.com...they have the wider threads that look like they'd stay in better than the ones from www.maxigripicestuds.com
ice studs will wear down, even if you drive them into a tire with a liner...so for $100 of screws and 2 hours of studding, you'll be flat...do you really want that?
the last option is www.kevincycleracing.com, and they have everything from flat metal inserts to long spikes...all of them are pre-studded
ah forgot about this, they are Gold Screws 1/2"

ok, so ice only...
I really think I'd like something for snow... Unless you're giving a killer deal. I guess you abandoned the other thread, but I think the michelin's are the ones you asked about... The tread doesn't match the ones I thought they were, the # on the sidewall must be compound. Not sure how to tell what model, but the tread matches the ones you posted about.
ya these are def. ice screws. O I said no thanks on the tires because I thought they were that funky hard pack tread. Post a pic up if you can later

btw, if you get a lot (I mean a lot) of snow, then another 2 (possibly) cost efficient options are tapcon screws (screwed from the inside of the tire, out...w' a ocknut on the outside) or grade 8 carriage bolts (also going inside-> out w' a locknut)
PITA to make, but cheap, durable, and awesome traction (from what I've read)
ha, any way you can...I've heard of everything from pliers to vice grips underneath the cap of the carriage bolt
double duty is tough, so I'd recommend either pre-studded tires from kevin's cycle, or the maxi-grip screws I posted earlier. I've heard the tapcon screws can do ice as well, but nobody really elaborated what that meant
can you do 2 tires? used dirty tires are typically pretty cheap
if anyone wants dirt tires for studding up, or even spares, i have a few sets i'd gladly give away for a 6-pack of IPA
Set 1 - Michelin Enduro Comp 3 (basically new)
Front 90/90 R21, Rear 120/90 R18
Set 2 - Pirelli MXMS (used but not roached)
Front 80/100 R21, Rear 100/90 R19
Single - Pirelli MXMS (barely used, has a small slice, repaired)
Rear 100/90 R19
Also have an almost-new tube off a supermoto w/180 rear
i could meet up in Worcester easily

kitt: got a couple bikes? 1 for ice, 1 for snow! keep the tires on until the seasons change
