it looks like you all had a great time this weekend :hellyeah:
how much dirty riding experience did you all have before going to an event like this?
I've been riding since I was seven, even had my first Z-50 there this weeked. Raced for a season when I was 15 then started back up when I was 18. I quit after the last Stimilon race in 2002. Now I take the bike out once every year or two to remind myself why I retired. :beerbang:

Yeah, I was pretty happy with my races given the 125 handicap, and the fact that it was my first MX race. My wife was kinda like Pffft, you looked slow. I think she got used to me being fast at Loudon, and just assumed I would kick ass out there. I was kinda like, I DID kick ass out there...:spit:
Re: Stimilon reviews and pics
shit, those two pee wees on 80cc (or smaller??) were kickin ass out there in moto 2. fuckers woulda lapped me no sweat hahaa!
i wish we were doing it again this weekend. had a great time with all you guys, fun crew for sure. :hellyeah:
Re: Stimilon reviews and pics
I never even checked to see how bad I did. I miss the old days when I could pull off top fives.
Re: Stimilon reviews and pics
rbrais, results will be up this week. i'm curious how many gates were filled in my classes. they both sold out but every gate wasnt occupied. thinking (read, hoping) i was mid pack for all three but not sure.
Justin, i should have gated next to you guys, we still haven't had our main event! hahaa. you're text on the way out was right, but i ain't gettin used to it!

Re: Stimilon reviews and pics
Yea this weekend was a blast... many trips to the gym and lots of practice are certainly in order. I know I could do much better than I did this weekend, just a matter of putting it all together... practice makes perfect.
Re: Stimilon reviews and pics
Had a blast out there. Nice meeting a few new people.
The track is wicked. I can't wait to ride it..
and yes, motocross draws some very attractive female fans AND racers..
Here are the pics:

I've never shot motocross, so it was an experience...I had a really REALLY hard time recognizing people out there with the exception of Mark and Paul. I just couldn't pick out the bikes well...especially difficult when the number plates and bikes, and Jersey's and helmet's are covered in mud...If I didn't get any pics of you, it's nothing personal..Sorry...

That's Jimmy Decotis. He's like 17 or 18. Pretty cool kid and fuckin FAST!
One of the guys ready to throw down may have been Jake Morrisson. I know he was almost asked to leave the track, but I have not yet found out why. He seems to get himself in trouble everywhere he goes. Already banned from NESC, but has a ton of natural talent.
Re: Stimilon reviews and pics
Nice work with the camera Tim! And I owe you a few bucks for the drinks. How do I buy a few pics from you?

does Jake ride a Suzuki? guy came in rip-shit over something, yelling at some poor kid on a Kawi (i think), threw the kids bike off the stand, etc. not cool for a 'hack' wknd.

I'm not sure what he was riding yesterday. His bike switches depending on who is helping him at the moment, but he is number 94 and was wearing a red jersey with his number on the back.

Chris O'neal photos are up:

This guy's site is nice. All pics are in order by bike number more or less making it easy to find stuff. Just a few of us that I've seen, but some great shots of the big guns!
Re: Stimilon reviews and pics
cool, thanks for the heads up, found 2 of me in there...
treeline has their pics up as well, not many though http://gallery.treelinecycle.com/Sports/808620

Re: Stimilon reviews and pics
Cool, I finished 8th in Keepin it Real!!! I would have finished 6th in 30C if I had just rolled around one more lap. You guys were not too far behind me either. Nice job everyone!
Re: Stimilon reviews and pics
Keepin it real went 20th & 15th for a 14th over all. Not bad for 2 years no riding. :beerbang:
Got taken down in the 30C so I got a 20th in the first and skipped the second.
Re: Stimilon reviews and pics
