There is a group that does the trials thing in Berwick ME Sundays. Hit up NEDB and check it out, looks like a good time.
nice score, i've always wanted one too but the learning curve is steep... skills you acquire are invaluable for technical off-road riding.

They sell them down here at Gabriel Racing. Really nice bikes. One of the guys is really good at it. Has invited me to go to the trials with him. I think he is a champion at it.
You talking about the oset trials bikes? Saw them online and thinking about getting one for my nephew. Previously got him an xr50 but he is too small for it and I figure the oset might be a better fit.
I might have to come check out the trials series thing if you get it going.
Joel
You working a deal to own/sell the bikes and run the series? That would be sweet.
Just want to work with kids... If I "carry" the bikes (the offer is there) I would most likely be passing them on for cost + freight... It's nto the purpose of the series. Any interest in helping out with it or bringing your nephew around, let me know.
Right now, this is only going to happen if we can come to some agreement on who's paying and how much on the rental bikes for the series.
Trials bikes are so cool... I've just been afraid that I won't be able to develop the skills to use one properly. Looks like the front wheel practically stays up on its own though!!![]()
are you first NESRian to buy one?
looks pretty sick...I want one!
nice lid squid
Can I try it?
Nathan
Yea, didn't post the pics to look cool, haha... figured I'd get shit. As mentioned below, not a ton of speed. I plan on wearing armor or vest, and maybe a bern BMX helmet or something. For competition, I believe I'll need a DOT half-face minimum. The full face helmets I have are pretty hard to see with (need full periferral vision of ground).
I'm sure you could try it, mine's freshly washed, or you can just order a nice beanie... I think that's the Shift "Bolt" pattern beanie... Meg bought it.![]()
Fuggin awesome. I would love to be able to dedicate the time needed to get into trials.

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
