I would at the very least get a set of riding boots. I hear the Tech 5's and 6's are the best bang for your buck. Then think about a chest protector. Gloves of course. then maybe a set of riding pants and a Drywick shirt of some sort.

Go buy a copy of Dirt Rider and in there there will be a few companies selling complete sets Boots helmet Goggles pants shirt socks glove the whole she-bang for like 300 clams. pretty good deal if you are just starting out.

Yup. About a month ago.
It wasn't so much second thoughts (about the specific bike) as it was coming to the hard realization that I cannot make time for everyhting. Once I started in on the research for gear and places to ride it became pretty clear that I was out of luck.

Alright, I like the Fox package but I am not sure about the tracker boots? For the deal with the helmet one that bell helmet looks a little cheezy. So what do you guys like for helmets...boots? I hate it, its giving me a headach.
