The more I look at the melted area, the more I think drop is right just by the way the plastic melted. The rubber plug must have been loose and eventually popped out and the bulb must have been resting on the plastic.

Glad I made the trip up. To bad I had to rush from work. To much going on, didn't go around meeting enough people. lol. Not to mention I had a MISERABLE ride home because my dumb ass forgot my clear shield. Took a june bug to the forehead on 495, ouch...
Glad I made it up though, looking forward to attenting more and meeting more people.

I just fixed a 6 inch crack in the headlight on my Civic because it was taking in water and blowing the bulb. I took the headlight out, heated it in the oven for 8 mins. took the light apart and plastic welded the crack cleaned, re-heat it and put it back together. it worked perfect and was easy as pie!
