No Go For Me
I know this is been covered before but bear with me here- where is the meet up for the NESR riders?? a pole?...what pole, where?
stripper pole at the left of the stage
edit: that post may have gotten me in trouble
I wish I could have actually seen what happened... just heard all the commotion as I was getting ready to leave. I had heard that one dude attempted a wheelie and rear ended another guy on a bike, putting down both
i came by and was there from 730 to 830. i couldn't find where all the NESR people were (i went to the flag pole and asked some people but no one knew what i was talkign about). i was wandering around with a yellow backpack with helmet attached and red shirt on. very cool place. the dyno booth was awesome, very cool to sound those bikes redline. nice to see all those bikes. perhaps i wil get to meet some people at the newbury posing?

come down next week and watch the burnout box, thats more fun than the dyno I cant believe that many people were playing on the dyno in this heat.
I think only the kid doing the wheelie towards stopped traffic who then grabbed way too much front brake was the only one that went down. I saw from him on the ground and the bike spinning though. The other guy running had jumped off his bike to go help I think. That kid looked like he just had a couple scrapes and bike didnt seem too bad... but yea not his best idea of the night im sure.
I saw the standard group of bikes, talked a little bit to a NEZR 1125 owner with my friend who also has a Buell then went out riding after. Was a good night!

That was an interesting ride home last night. I went up to nashua area to see someone i know. After leaving i went to fill my tank which had just lit up with a low fuel light. So I fill it up with the normal gas selection and look down to see the pump had malfunctioned and gave me diesel. (I checked everything and it said it gave me regular gasoline.)
And of course immediately after that happened it started to downpour with huge gusts of wind.
Fun stuff.

That's right, back to a 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder, and a 4 cylinder.
Yeah, drained it as much as I could. Then put some octane boost and some 93 in to try and delute the remaining deisel as much as possible.

Worse case you foul your plugs, shouldn't do any lasting damage

Awesome turnout last night! It was way too hot out, but it did finally start to cool off and we got a decent breeze going.
Nice to see all the NESR members. Even with the heat we had just under 500 bikes throughout the night.
As for the whole wheelie thing...what we believe happened was that one guy did a quick wheelie, then his friend decided it was a good idea too however he wasn't as successful seeing as it was a red light and he grabbed too much front brake.
DEFINITELY not a smart move for either one of them. A perfect example of why we are always announcing to not do any wheelies, burnouts, etc as you're leaving.
The kid that fell was ok though. Just embarassed I'm sure.
