We've got a new sportbiker girl in our midst, and wondering if there are any track days geared for women planned? Details?
A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. - John Stuart Mill
Women ride with the men or they stay home and clean toilets.
You suck at life. Why don't you quit?
My dad told me I could be anything I wanted when I grew up. So I became an Asshole.
BCM Ducati runs a couple or Tony's track day may have one.

Is BCM doing track days this year?
I heard rumor last year that the all womens day may not happen. I don't think it was really any benefit for the women anyway...just go to Tony's!!
when it comes to riding, why segregate?
Because, some chucklheads seem to have a real problem riding behind a woman.Originally posted by bump909

And does Tony promote a women's deal in advance, or just at the last minute?

Now, should she ride the bike there or trailer it?Originally posted by Karaya One

I guess I'll tell her to just forget about Loudon.

It is my understanding that Femmoto is a demo day and NOT a trackday. Your track time is limited, you are not allowed to go at speed, there is difficulty getting on the list to try the bikes that you want and many people traveled to Nevada only to ride an EX.Originally posted by Karaya One

Second...why should she forget about Loudon? There are plenty of girls that ride there and plenty of us that do Trackdays. What is the real issue here? What are you looking for?
At this point, I have one date that only has 2 signups.
I could make that an All Women date.
However, I am not confident that it would fill up.
I would be more tempted to make it a "RED/YELLOW day"... meaning no BLUE GROUP RIDERS.
We could combine it with extra personal training as well.
Thoughts?
Oh, like the old "no racers" deal?Originally posted by 35racer

Thoughts?True, you probably would have a tough time filling an all-female date. You could have a BMW/Girls day instead?
PB is selling her R6 to another female rider. My inquiry was merely intended to see if there were any plans for a girlie day so our scheduling arrangements could be made in advance, since we'd mentioned to her how she'd have a great time & get a lot out of the experience. And of course PB would enjoy revisting the track with her new, yellow R6.

I hear ya,
I'm open to any/all suggestions that make sense.
However, I need to decide quick before the dates start filling up as "regular" events.
Ask my wife or my 15 year old daughter about riding with the boys and they'll say "what's the big deal?"
They had no trouble with any body on the track and we make sure it's as unintimidating as possible.
Which group are they riding in?Originally posted by Ken C

Red. (Beginner)
But Caroline would do well in yellow. Jeannine isn't far behind moving "up".
The way we do the passing rules makes it quite geginner friendly- no passing in corners for the red group.
No offense to Renee (my wife), but I think she is generally the slowest rider on any given day... and she never has any issues.
I understand women might want the camaraderie that a women's day may offer... but I don't think riding skill should be an issue not to attend a regular day.

It was almost to the point of stopping and getting off in the turns, walking it through, and getting back on and put-putting down the straights.Originally posted by OreoGaborio

Those of us that saw her at the Red Roof had a show watching her try to back up her trailer with a fried clutch in her truck. She finally asked for help and I moved it for her, that clutch was junk. Get out of the truck, Tracy comes over to tell me she was heading out to get some "refreshments". Ducati woman looks at her and gives her a $20 and tell her what she wanted. Didn't ask, just here get me this. Then she starts talking about taking the day off to try "this" and how she's in the Medical field ( Dr.) and had to reschedule her patients. From there every one just walked away.....
