SWEET 1198. He got it in May for his birthday.
Ryan, that 800 reminded me of my old one... I gotta let you take the Hawk out next time.
GREAT WEATHER! TONS OF TRACKTIME and minimal crashes. :woot: (I didn't crash at all)

Yeah, I took off on 6. I wish I could put my finger on what I did wrong so I NEVER do it again... My rear end was bouncing around on me, but I don't think that had anything to do with this off. Pretty sure I just tucked the front tire.
Some new rear sets, and a little paint, and she'll be good to go. :beerbang:
Should be ready to go in about 2 weeks. Kates is ordering me up a stiffer spring, so for now, I'll blame the soft suspension and that GD turtle.
That was one fast turtle going through there. :beerbang:
I tell ya what, as the guys running it said, we will NEVER have another trackday like that.
28 people TOTAL showed up.
There were 6 people in advanced group most of the day, until Alex and Harrison bumped up to play. Then it was 8.
Just a rediculously good day. Weather = perfect. Track = perfect.
Only suggestion? Figure out what group to call over the PA!
and maybe no Paper Numbers this time
I'm having a helluvha time trying to get it off my windscreen:deathslap:
Yea yesterday was just awesome, the weather, the track time. It was like a perfect birthday present ;). Awesome group of riders, see you all in september!!
I am sure constructive suggestions are welcome.
I heard that the communication needs work. And maybe a easier removed sticker... anything else?
LAPS wants to be a trackday for YOU.
The guys were great, and the instructors were very helpful. I would certainly ride with them again.
sad I missed out....even sadder for why I did....I'm coming in september I hope
I screwed up on what group was going when Anyone who knows me well will attest to the shitty memory. Rick said i am fired from the announcement position.
Ryan Nicolson's gf gives great shoulder rubs :teehee:
OH NO YOU DIDNT!
I am not his girlfriend... :deathslap:
Well, it made for some chuckling in the garage when you announced that the group currently on track was about to go out. I think we figured that part out okay.
However, I'd love to see a sign somewhere in the garage that shows which group is currently out, and when the next group goes out. If you stick to 20-minute sessions, you can skip the next-group time and just have the first part (a flipboard or moveable arrow or something would work), although if you manage to stick to 20-minute sessions, it also reduces the need for a sign. It's nice to have that reassurance that yes, things are as I think they are and I'm not missing a session or about to try to get my leathers, helmet, and glove on in under a minute to get out for one, thus forgetting to put batteries in the goPro in the process.
enough shit talk. i wanna see pictures
this guy was there

I want to thank everyone that came out, it was a great day and those that joined us really got to enjoy a ton of open track time. I can't wait for September.
Yah.. Everyone stay away in September too!!! :woot:
