Monticello, NY track dates

I'm not a track guy, but know that many of you are. I saw this on another forum and thought I'd pass this info since I didn't see it on here.

"Nesba and STT have dates at the "exclusive Ferrari owner" only type track that just opened. This economy has some perks!!! The only down sides are, no pets, no food service available, and no camping. You have a track though!

Thanks for the heads up...

Look like a pretty sweet place. I found about 8 bike track dates for there. Its about 4 hour drive for me, closer then Jersey. I'm going to check it out !!

NESBA and STT both cancelled their Monticello dates due to safety issues. One of the big reasons was a gap between the armco barriers and the ground.

Yep... kind of figured they would cancel.

After riding the track, we didn't see any other option.

Hopefully, with none of the trackday org's agreeing to ride there, some changes will be made by the track.

Tony, Ken, and I checked the place out a couple of months back....... we spent considerable time trying to figure out how to make it work....but there was no way.
