Good question. The maximum number of spots we will fill is 70. That is the maximum the insurance will allow. The track can easily accomodate 70 people without any traffic issues. 23 per group, 2.5 mile track. Everybody has 1/10 of a mile space.Originally posted by daviid

Should we use the Corner speed rules for the rules we are using for bike/rider prep?

Its that damn page that caused my frustrated safety drilling/wiring frenzy in the VIR parking lot Monday morning.
HBerry - Cornerspeed are tech nazis. There is nothing wrong with that, but if you aren't prepared, you will miss track time drilling and wiring.
Cornerspeed required a safety wired oil drain plug, oil filter, oil fill, and zip tied up sidestand and no centerstands. Have to have either straight water in the coolant or AMA approved stuff.
I'll be hosting a "prep" day so don't worry about that stuff for now.
I'm sure the usual cottage industry will spring up with people offering to trailer bikes and prep bike for a fee so anyone worried about prep or transportation has no reason to worry.

Goddamn shit makes me nervous! Guess I will be buying a rea-stand before we head down there, no big deal I need one anyways! Someones gonna have to show me how to safety wire all this shitOriginally posted by highsider

Dont be nervous, its all no big deal, can be done in an afternoon, and there is always someone who will help you out. Its not a bad idea to have some of that stuff done to your bike anyway, if you're going to do track days.Originally posted by HBerry
