Returning to the track for the first time after my crash last year.....

I broke my clavicle a few weeks back at NYST. Going through all these now and hope to come back sometime soon. Good luck out there.

I'm with Issac and JC, try not and make a deal out of a crash. It's like putting the pussy on a pedestal. Lol

Sucks you got hurt, but most of the time when you crash, it's a low side and your back out for the next session.

Welcome back! You'll be back up to speed in no time. I had to take a break for a couple years and just came back in April. I stepped down to Yellow group at Thompson just to get a feel for the new track and bike. I lasted in yellow for about half the day then went to blue. I was still slow, but it was easier in general flowing among the faster riders. People just generally ride better in blue/black.
Like already mentioned, pace yourself, get comfortable again and don't push uneccesarily. Most importantly have fun.

Yesterday went very well. Nice to get back to the track and gain the confidence that I had PRIOR to my crash.. looking forward to more days in the upcoming months.
