I don't know where to start, but two local riders from my work place, both in their middle 20's, and both I bs alot about bikes at work passed away on separate days this weekend. It was shocking enough to have one tragedy, but to come to work and then hear of the other. A few of us at work were sure that they had the guys name confused with one another, but as we all found out at work, they both died.
Even if I was not a rider, these are two great people the world will miss.
Be cautious out there everyone as the weekend weather will be nice.

I didn't hear about it - where did it happen?
Duct tape is like "The Force". It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
Wow, thats sad. Sorry to hear about your loss.

R.I.P, always a tragery to hear this.
It's already been a rocky start to 2009's season. Thoughts and prayers are with you and their families :-(
One was Sunday/Saturday and the accident occurred in CT , the other was Friday night in N. Kingstown. Both were boat workers, different department. I was on the same side of the building with them. We were bs'ing about my recent incident. My boss was worried about me because I did not show up for work Monday, I understood why after my near miss. I don't need any prayers for myself, but I will pass it along to their friends that the riding community have the thoughts and prayers for them.

That sucks.
Be careful out there guys. Alot of people just plain forget that there are bikes on the road in the springtime..... wait, make that all the time.
Yeah the one in CT was on 395 near Putnam, and that guy was the son of one of my mothers coworkers. So Ive gotten a few emails from mom this week already telling me she is scared for me.
I think the other one you were talking about was a young guy on a SV650....I was at Razee's and one of the sales guys was telling me about it.
R.I.P. this is awful news. While no place is 100% safe, the nature of the sport cannot change that, it's one reason I'm finding myself riding more and more track and less and less street of late. I miss just going riding tho.... but my FIRST time out, a guy locked em up coming to a stoplight behind me and nearly gave me a heart attack. Be safe everyone.
yikes, RIP. Poor guys. Hate to hear about people going down, especially permanently.
Sorry to hear about your buddies Baller. Keep your chin up man.
