It was so nice,

I had to listen twice

actually a lot more than that.

just testament that there is beauty to be found in engineering.

BTW, can anyone find a downloadable of that sound? appears to be a flash application that runs it.

There are a couple akra vids on YouTube

sounds a lot better in person. Had the chance to mess wit one while in orlando two weeks ago.

Hell the first time I'll see an 09 in person is when I'm signing papers!

I was there yesterday as well and saw no such bike. The only R1 I saw was a blue 08, I even had to take a double look and check out the headlights to make sure. One thing I'm 100% sure on, if there was one there, Manny (sales manager) would have pointed it out to me

Devil1, if it makes you feel any more betterer, I saw a 09 R1 today with my own eyes at Freedom cycles in Concord, NH.
Love everything about the looks except the exhaust. It was side by side with a R6..a very hot looking red/white/silver R6 I might add..and the R1 looks small than the 6, at least from the front. Love the looks of the headlights in person:naughty
