Best 1/4 mile times?

Just wondering who on here does the 1/4 and what there times are. About 8 of us went up to the strip 2 weeks ago(Friday night), and I did a best of 10.45, 136mph. Not to make any excuses, but I got out of the groove and the tire was spinning a little in 2nd or 3rd. I don't know how they expect you to see threw the windscreen when they put shoe polish all over it.
That was my first time at the strip with the 1000. I gotta get my launch down, I'm coming out of the hole too soft.

Nice time G but ya gotta get those speeds up.... I was pulling those speeds with my fat ass on the R1 while in the 11.3 area (nice wheelies..lol) One of these days I'll learn how to race......

I've only been to the drag strip one time but I did a 11.3 @ 130mph on a YZF R6.

I would like to see what I can do on the R1. G-man are you heading up to the track on the 10th???? I'm there!

Actually I had higher speeds(137 &139) but my times were slower(10.5 & 10.7). Like I said about the 10.4 run, I drifted to within a foot of the centerline and basically had to turn left. I,m pretty sure if I stayed straight, I would have had an higher top speed and quicker elapsed time. Oh well

Yo G I bet your drift wasn't as bad or as SCARY as the Oct runs we did up there in the snow where ya locked left to right on the R1!! DOHHHHH

Now that was scary! Having the back tire break loose isn't that bad, but the front is a whole different ballgame. Remind me not go go dragracing when it's snowing.

I would like to take my ZX7R down before the year is out to see what I can get with it. I've never been down the strip on my bike I've taken my mustang down before but I would like to see what my bike could do in the 1/4. I would like mid to high 10's but anything is better than nothing, oh well maybe I can hook up with you guys on the 10th.
