Penske shock on order.
77 Days, Order #1 came in yesterday
Cool.... I just recieved my WERA licence. Now I have the same race number for LRRS/CCS, WERA and USCRA. The stars are aligning....
Final chassis assembly this weekend and then off to the Trouble's Paint Booth for some touch up and a fresh coating of Eastwood 2K Clearcoat. I plan to test test the new motor on the local (Burlington, VT) dyno by the end of the month just to be 100% sure it is ready for April 26th.
First care package showed up today from Race Tech. Tonight's plan - basement demolition to prep my new work area.

I got it back in the frame last night and worked on it until I ran out of parts. Now I need to look around for those missing parts.

Here comes the rush, penske shock and revalving the forks. Then off to kates for optimization Bleed all the old fluids and a fresh paint job, ready.......BREAK

I missed one bolt.
One of the ones that holds the clutch basket on, now I have to drive 45mins back to the bike to put that on...then I can start it. At least I got to see it make oil pressure.

engine running and sounds awesome. Now to heat cycle a few more times and make a new wish list.
i start my building sunday or monday. just need to swap over the goodies from bike A to bike B.
bodywork painted, new exhaust at home.
Just shot my first Steel challenge practice on Sunday. Was a BLAST! I think I'm going to start going to actual matches! I was shooting 1 to 2 seconds slower than guys who've been shooting professionally for years! Not bad for my first time out!
