    Question 1986 VFR 700 pricing...? ? ?

A friend here showed me his long languishing '86 VFR 700 and would like to move it...

The engine will run, at a short look I observed that the fairing and body work is in good condition although the panels that hide wiring from the gauges and running in both directions are missing. Original white paint, has that cool engine wrinkled tan color on the cases, he bought new tires for it and they are not installed and will go with it.

Looks to be a Two Brother's can and mid pipe but I will verify that. I recall seeing the mileage at just over 17K but I'll get the exact figure and look it over better.

In the ballpark, what is this kind of vintage Honda worth...?

Thanks for any insight here. I will go back over and have a second look and hopefully take a photo or two and post them if we can move it out of the area in the cellar that it is sitting in.

    Best,
    Rob

Running and riding with the tires on it, like $1,200 at the very high end.

If it needs any work at all, $700-$800 max.

Garrett unloaded his Interceptor 1k for $2,500 but it looked pretty minty for the age
