Happy problem
Are the average secondary road in New England. Berkshires, VT, VH bad enough where you would believe that the 950 supermotard would have an advantage over the 990 superduke.
I think the Duke is bigger a little heavier with 118 hp. It has white bros suspension but I think about 6 inches travel
Supermotard more nimble lighter around 98 hp with I think 8 and 10 inch suspension.
On the rt 116, 8A, 100, 118 etc who votes for what ?

I like motards, but the 990 sure looks nice.....

Just make sure you get the opposite of what I get!!!! I want the 990, I think, or maybe the 950, I think....![]()
OK, OK, I think I want the 950, yeah, I want the 990, or was it......
They're both so damn pretty and sure to be loads of fun to ride!!!!

116, 8A, and 100 used to be right in my back yard and I would ride them almost daily during the summer. None of those roads require the suspension travel of the motard. A normal sportbike's suspension handles them just fine.Originally posted by richw

It is a real tough call on which bike to get though. I'm a torque and HP fan through and through so I would lean towards the superduke. On the other hand, the motard looks like tons of fun! I think if I were to ride a modtard, I would add lights to a KTM 525 MXC or 525 SMR and have a 250lbs wheelie machine!
