The fellow I just bought a XV920R from lost the keys, he removed the helmet lock and took it to a locksmith (uses same key as ignition, trunk and cable lock that came with bike)

A locksmith was able to make a new set of keys with the helmet lock

I think he used ABC lock in Dover, I will e-mail him and ask

Both great ideas. Exactly what I needed to know. I've got the trunk compartment lock for the bike, which already has a broken part. If I don't have the key # written down on my paperwork at home I'll try brining that to the guy in Dover.

Ya know, you can go to the local Radio Snatch and get a new ignition for it for cheap money. You can even get wunna those funky round-key ignitions for it!!!

Found the key! Apparently my other half placed it somewhere... her poor, poor boyfriend, (Kim ).

I am heading to Degsy's tomorrow and will be there 9:30-10am. If anyone's interested we'll be working on the bike and then heading to The Charlie Horse for lunch and a few games of pool.
