I had an attack of squid syndrome today and ordered a set of CARBON FIBER brake lines. No better performance, but boy do they look trick!

no i dont. i supposedly use cocaine like X for sexual entertainment with my woman... you are the one receiving the rectal speculum to fix the self inflicted damage received.
go eat a frisbee!
You were supposed to buy the CF Rotors.
These actually sound cool. I've never seen a flexible piece of CF before. Are they lighter than what you had if they don't offer any extra performance?

We do have a sponsor who supplies CF Rotors, but they are illegal for racing under AMA sanctioned event rules.Originally posted by benSV

They are much lighter than stock and steel hoses. They have the same inner dimensions as the Goodridge - 2 hoses which are regarded as the standard for racing. The problem with the goodrich racing hises is that they don't come with a clear coating so they can fray really easily. The carbon fiber ones will not fray and should work the same as the goodridge ones. I am waiting to see the flexible CF that they are made out of, but I know that CF can be made in anything from cloth to a solid block (just like fiberglass) so I am expecting it to feel like a kind of flexible plastic.

Well light is good... but you risk being called a weight weenie unless you show up to race at <10% bodyfat this year.
Ben
Don't worry. I have a cunning plan. I eat whatever I want all winter and then chop one leg off below the knee one week before the race season starts, et voila! 20lb weight loss instantly.

did you know the human head weighs 10 pounds?

depends on which leg, methinks...![]()
