YAY !!!!! got my bike back. and apperently the 60$ ignition advancer was a good investment.... did a small wheelie unintentionally the other night with it. i suppose ill have to pay attention while gunning on it now. no more holding it hard open without worrying about the front end coming up on me.

it really was on accident... mostly, i popped the throttle a little but didnt use the clutch to get it up and i really didnt expect it to come up it never did before.
its got just over 6300 miles on it. its got a few minor performance things and according to Factory Pro the advancer is "suppose to provide more 3-7k power and 2-6hp increase at full throttle"

was a great bike to get back into riding with. as for heavy. its really not much heavier than a few other bikes we put on a scale. a 08 600RR with around a half tank was 409. and my bike was 447 with 3/4 of a tank. i know thats alot for a bike but i think alot of people assume cruiser weight when they hear heavy. im hoping to lower the bike and give it to my G/F for her first bike and then get a new one next spring. getting a new one eitherway.

ill get it in here and put on the shipping scale again and post a picture if you want. believe me i was well surprized when we put it up there and thats what it came up with. even the guy i bought it from was surprised.
lost a bit of weight with the stock exhaust going bubye and the center stand was off at the time.

Even dropping all that I can't see your wet weight being 11 pounds less than the dry weight stock

my old 750 was 461 dry and boy did i feel every pound of it while i was learning.
some bastard had beaten the piss out of the poor thing sometime in her life, so she never ran very well (turned into a Triumph Katana 562.5, prompting me to get rid of her for the princely sum of $400)
hurray, strikethrough!
