What was your first bike??

I learned to ride on an 85 Honda Interceptor 500. It was a total POS death trap Then, since I was such an expert, I bought an 86 Yamaha FJ1200 with a Stage 2 V&H power kit. That bike earned me the nickname "highsider".....

The VF500F Interceptor is still regarded as one of the best handling bikes of the 1980's. And it even spawned its own race series.

First street bike? 8 years ago, 1979 Honda CM400T. Taught me to ride slow bikes fast. 39 HP and I could TOSS that bitch around. Put nearly 30,000 miles on it. What a bike....still miss that thing....

My first bike was a brand new off the Floor 1998 YZF600R. Why I bought new is questionable, but it treated me well and sold her just this past spring with 35K on her.. Looked better when I sold it than it did off the floor the first tim eI saw her! I kind of miss her, but extrememly happy to be riding my RC51 !!!! My second Street Bike. 6 1/2 years 2 different steet bikes. I want another one again.... Whats next?

My First Dirt Bike made 2 appearences in my life over the past year and a half which was a WR426F. WOW what a machine!!

had an 81' honda nighthawk 650. It didn't like going as fast as I liked (lacked traction), so it ended up in the trees on a sharp corner. I also upgraded to an 82 GS750E

First bike...1986 Suzuki Intruder. Kept for one year, then got an 87 FJ1200 and added a stage 3 kit and V&H full chrome system. Kept it til 98, when I got my current ZX9R. The FJ just ran, and ran, and ran, no probs. Great bike with a bullet-proof engine pushing loads of torque and power. -sniffle-

I learned on an old Honda 250... mid 80s I think. It wasn't mine.

My first bike I bought was a Suzuki Intruder 800.
Then had a ZX-6D then a ZX-6R and now a ZX7R.
