Thoughts on this bike...

What do people think of this bike? Too flashy? The list of mods and the price is around my range, but I will be riding this on the street as well as the track, so I don't want to stand out that much.

It has around 9000 miles. never raced, never dropped, never ridden in the rain.
more than $3500 worth of upgrades.

the bike is nice, but i'd sell the plastics and get OEM black ones.

I would love it in all black, so I guess I could look for someone to trade up, but I think it would be tough to find someone who would be willing to trade for everything.

well i know on the GSXR forums, people post classfides all the time to trade plastics. maybe check out the CBR forums and see if someone would trade for a black set.

and selling them? What is it an 05 600RR?

Id buy it and rock those plastics on the street cuz they are different than most, and buy a set of track plastics for like $400 and paint em yourself or get a simple spray done for short money.

Those CZ wheels are enough to have me sold!

Vry nice bike...and I agree those wheels are beautiful.

I'd ride it - I think it looks pretty sweet. The graphics are a bit much but the colors are subdued enough that nothing screams about the paint job.

I probably will do that if I end up picking this bike up so that I don't ruin the plastics at the track if I go down.

I'm still pissed about the guy selling it to someone else when I agreed to purchase it from him and was working out the details. Left a bad taste for Yamahas...though I would still go for a nice R6 Raven if I came across one soon.

Yeah, no damper, but that would be the only real thing I would purchase for the bike...well, that and some frame sliders (Derek...I'd probably need your masterful skills for that install again).

maybe think about an ohlins rear shock too...if your gonna track it a lot
