a few friends of mine have newer cbr 1000s being 06s 07s nd 08s theyr all good anw at not, but ive seen the ratings in teh magazines and all of my buddies have ridin my bike and they all are more comfortable and i have no problem pulln away from them on teh highway......i love my gsxr 1000 (07) and i feel its a better pick......i 2 had 2 choose except i choose from the r1 as well

i like the 08 gsxr alot better then that ugly ass CBR ...i wont ever upgrade to the 08 RR i dont care how bad ass it performs ...my buddy has the new GSXR and i think it looks MINT

I already replied to this, but I will again since it seems you have not yet come to an anwser.


IMO the CBR is king for this year. When most bikes are getting heavier(to meet new emissions standards) with more power the CBR got lighter with more power. It is almost as light with almost twice the power of a 600. The suzuki is a very good bike aswell, but if you want the gixxer I would wait until the 09's come out because it is supposed to be a redesign year for the gixxer 1k. Just my opinion, let us know what you decide to go with.
