I live in MA and just bought an 86 Ninja for the purpose of cleaning up and selling in the spring. The bike is titled in RI. What do I have to do in MA to be able to sell it? I do not want to register it because I have no intention of riding it. The funny thing is that I used to own this bike 5 years ago and am buying it back from the guy I sold it to. RI never issued a new title because of age and my name is the last name on the back of the title. Will MA issuse a new title for this? What costs do you think I will have to cover? Thanks.

or poke around the site....
Yeah, I was already on there. It looks like I will probably have to re-title it and pay the fee. I was just wondering if anyone had experience with this sort of thing. RI never issued a new title beacuse of age.
I'd rather not say online, but I got it pretty cheap. I sold it to him about 5 years ago and he put 170 miles on it. It is not running right now and needs some TLC from sitting so long. Here's a link to a restored one. This guy might be smoking crack though. In the summer new riders are looking for cheap (cost, insurance) first bikes.
