Unless that thing has entirely outrageous mileage or other unmentioned problems, that's a steal for $2500. Not my cup of tea, but if it's in decent shape I can't imagine it'd last long. Some may consider the 88 TC a draw back given today's stock motors, but those are pretty fuckin' solid motors.

Right??? Something isn't jibing with this...

EDIT: It does look like it may have not been well maintained. Left side floor board is missing the insert and the pan looks like it's covered in rust, the rear wheel looks like a fuggin' mess, looks like a lot of pitting on the derby cover & oil tank (left side). My guess is it wasn't stored very well when it sat those three years. Still looks like it could be a deal though...

Just passed it to my buddy. He already talked to the guy. It has high miles so he wasn't interested in buying it no matter the deal. I think he said it had 75k on the clock. I still think it's a deal but he is a Harley guy and didn't think so.

'Cherry bomb' color and it looks like the airbox cover hasn't cracked at the mounts, those are getting rare. This is basically the low version of how I've got my 08 Uly setup, and it's a riot to ride. Price is reasonable.

"Just needs a battery" always throws me, you can put a $40 Walmart special in and then it's a runner and you wouldn't have to drop your price so much? There clearly is some battery life if they can get pics of the dash lit up showing milage...

For those looking, this applies to the other one as well: These bikes are hitting the age where the fuel pumps are aging out, and the ECUs are suffering from cracks and failing solder joints on the connectors. Neither are show stoppers, you can actually source new ECUs from the original supplier who maintains a bunch of tunes for common exhaust/airbox/etc setups. Worst case if you need both, you're looking at upwards of $800 and a few hours in the garage to get sorted.

I've got a buelltooth should someone get one and want to pull codes/etc, FYI.

If anyone sees a clean original 2005 or 2007 Honda CBR1000 RR Repsol, let me know. I’ve looked at a few and they are either not authentic, have the Chinese body kit, or the sellers simply ghost me when I ask when can I come get the bike. The two 2005’s on marketplace (one in Pawtucket, RI, the other in West Hartford, CT) I’ve written off

Don't those have some weird stator issues that require you to drop the motor to repair? Good enough reason to not replace the battery lol
