In 2001 I paid $8400 otd from my gsxr 750 which was about a grand off. The f4i's I was looking at were around $7500 otd.
Not sure if this was posted already

Surprised no one posted this one for the comedy factor, but I bought it this weekend - https://nh.craigslist.org/mcy/d/plym...787333377.html
Here's the writeup on it: https://cyclesource.com/tea-tracker
I ended up paying $2500. I didn't even negotiate, I just let him talk himself down. The thing is surprisingly well-built, and the guy figured it only had about 300 miles on it, which I definitely believe. Supposedly there are dozens of videos documenting the build and fabrication, which I haven't found yet. I didn't know Twisted Tea commissions a bike build for Laconia every year to give away.
Now to find a painter....an probably a front end.
I've always enjoyed it. A well-set up one can handle pretty nicely, though I'm not sure that's what this is. You don't want to rely on one as your daily, but they're fun. If you're going on a long ride, or riding them regularly, a kidney belt is a good idea. Low rear tire pressure is key.
Possibly for someone with V4 fever - https://www.ebay.com/itm/18670809470...=20012&mkevt=1

A bike that looks to be in actually good shape for this thread, even though it's a total toilet of a motor.

Harley's have taken a beating in prices lately. I don't even know what the bottom price is for most of them now. I see relatively good looking ones for under 2k all the time.
Yeah, the used Harley market pretty much crashed after the release of the all new 2024's. You can get most 2024's for less than a new 2023 due to the "Covid pricing" of the 2022's & 2023's. While used are crashing hard, that'll rebound as it always does but I don't think we'll see used prices like they were just a year ago when they were through the roof...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
If I were flipping a bike I’d at least write my own ad and take my own pictures.

Its an ok price since it looks so clean. I would avoid them though. Parts are pretty much non existent at this point. My Rg was in the same boat, little things just cant be had. My nsr is quickly approaching that now so ive been buying up stocks when i find it which isnt very often. The tzr is the only one with a solid parts supply still.
Nah, I'd say that's pretty steep, at least by a few grand...that guy bought it <3 months ago for $6k. Granted I haven't seen it in person, so maybe it's perfect and he stole it at $6k. They sell on Iconic and BaT for less than what he's got it listed for. Totally agree though; can't imagine parts are easy to come by for them. My RG500 was pretty easy to get parts for, they just all had to come from the UK, France or Spain.
I think parts of the US still have good race classes for the TZR which is probably why they're still well-supported (at least they did 5-10 years ago).
