so many miles. easy to rebuild but that's really pushing the life of those things. It looks like it was stored outside, one side is in far worse condition than the other. There are better out there for the same money.

That thing is just about done. It'd take at least a few thousand $$ to make that a really nice bike. In my opinion of course...
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
Both from the same seller:
1993 Honda Interceptor VFR, $2,500
1979 Triumph bonneville 750, $5,900

I hate it when sellers hose down the bike for the wet look for the pics.
Those handguard-turnsignal-mirror assemblies are fragile and expensive, it doesn't take much to break them. Then convert to something else. When I broke mine (garage tipover), I converted to Barkbusters + bar end mirrors + LED strips for turnsignals:

When I had my Speed I bought these: https://www.af1racing.com/AF1-TR7372...ED-Light-Strip
Painted the guard white to match the bike and put a strip of orange theater light gel in front of the LED then hooked them up to the blinkers. Came out pretty cool.

Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
The fuel capacity on those is a bastard which I think really hurt sales, it stopped me from buying one anyway. 2 gallons is nothing.

I prefer my r1s older, with the testicle destroyer gas tank.

It's basically a reskinned KTM Duke 390 in hipster clothes, I'm not aware of any glaring issues. Came real close to picking up a new one back in 19, local dealer had 8 of them and was blowing them out at $3,250 new, crazy incentives. tank wasn't much of an issue for me, Hell the Hyper has a 105 mil range, this thing on 2 gallons probably 125-140 range.

It's a KTM 390 so pretty well supported. They are sharp bikes in person and on the smaller side. I didn't read about any major issues when I was researching them, just the tiny tank. On paper at least they seem like great bikes.
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
Not an R model, but by far the cheapest Duke 890 I’ve seen

Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
:bitchslap: your killing me with these cheap 890s on FB, I'd never know about them otherwise..... Hell at that price I'll do the suspension.
I hope this sells quick, I think my bonus gets deposited on the 4th.....
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
IDK what an srad is, but $1500 seems like a good price ...
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/mc...700527844.html
[edit] *too* good a price
Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
That guy selling the srad is so shady. If someone else was selling I would be very tempted but most of his stuff is crashed, needs repairs or just straight up stolen. Have a look at his ads, most of what he sells says he has misplaced the title but it's not stolen. I believe there was a big thread about him over on BORN at one time.
Oh srad = Suzuki ram air direct . Fun bikes though those little 600s really need to be twisted up to get any sort of power out of them.

I googled the phone number and this post from 2013 was the first result
