the temperature in the clear tube will be much lower from direct sunlight, than the temperature of the fluid in the calipers while under heavy braking.
if you're really that concerned, you can get a btrake fluid with a higher boiling point.

Yeah I wasn't talking about temperature Jim. I realize how much heat gets generated in the calipers. I meant the actuall sunlight itself. I had heard in the past that sunlight actually breaks down brake fluid over time. I doubt it would be an issue as long as you flush your system when your suposed to anyways, but was curious if there was any truth to that.
They aren't, stock ones i've seen are usually opaque.

Humidity will corrupt it before the UV gets a chance to break it down.
