If you try to register a bike from PA in CT then they make you bring the bike in for a safety inspection.
Maybe it's not a standing rule but the last 2 bikes I've bought were out of state (PA) and they insisted I bring both on temp plates to local DMV branches for safety inspections. Both had clear titles and bills of sale as well.

That's funny cause last time I got a bike from Mass, only a VIN check.
